Inauguration of the President of Georgia

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Davit of Georgia, accompanied by his brother, HRH Prince Ugo, attended the inauguration of the President of Georgia, Salome Zourabichvili, in Telavi, Georgia. The ceremony took place at the palace of Erekle II, the last King of Kartli-Kakheti. Salome Zourabichvili was the first woman elected President of Georgia and would serve a six-year term.

After the official inauguration, a small number of guests—including the Patriarch of Georgia; the Prime Minister of Georgia, Mamuka Bakhtadze; and other dignitaries—attended a gala dinner in honour of the fifth President of Georgia.
