Use of insignia with effect on those whose brevets are dated on or after January 1st, 2025
- Grand Collar: Grand Collar
- Grand Cross: Golden breast star and sash with badge
- Grand Officer: Silver breast star and cross at the neck
- Commander: Cross at the neck
- Knight/Dame: Medal of the Order worn on the breast
- Esquire: Medal of the order with a blue ribbon
Office holders of the Royal House may use the Gold and Silver breast star as a symbol of their status, if they are not already a Grand Cross or Grand Collar of the Order.
Knights and dames breveted prior to January 1st, 2025, deemed “ancient knights”, may continue to enjoy the guide for use of insignia as they were in force at the time for their rank.
