Government and Authority of the Royal Orders

The Royal Orders of the Royal House of Georgia are governed by His Royal Highness Prince Davit, Head of the Royal House of Georgia and Sovereign Grand Master. Authority to confer the Royal Orders, determine their grades, appoint or remove officers, establish or withdraw delegations, and authorize investitures derives from the Sovereign Grand Master only.

Officers of the Royal Orders

The officers listed below assist the Sovereign Grand Master in the government and administration of the Royal Orders. Each officer serves within the responsibilities entrusted to that office and under the authority of the Sovereign Grand Master.

Authority and Delegation

All officers and delegations of the Royal Orders serve under the authority of the Sovereign Grand Master and within the responsibilities entrusted to them. No office or delegation possesses authority independent of the Sovereign Grand Master.

Family relationship, dynastic or noble title, historical association, former office, or membership in a Royal Order does not independently confer authority to govern, represent, reorganize or confer any Royal Order of the Royal House of Georgia.
