On the evening of March 15, 2025, an intimate gala dinner was held at the Westin New York at Times Square to honor His Royal Highness Crown Prince Davit Bagrationi Mukhranbatoni, Head of the Royal House of Georgia, on the occasion of his first royal visit to the Americas. The dinner followed the Royal House of Georgia’s historic first investiture ceremony in the Americas, making the evening a fitting tribute to the occasion.
Prince Davit and his son, His Royal Highness Prince Giorgi Bagrationi, were accompanied by distinguished representatives of the Royal House. The gathering also welcomed knights and dames of the Royal Orders, members of the Georgian nobility, His Grace Bishop Irinej of the Serbian Orthodox Church, and Her Imperial and Royal Highness Alicia Habsburg-Lorraine, Archduchess of Austria. Community leaders and veterans of the United States Armed Forces were also in attendance, making the evening a distinguished and memorable occasion.
A highlight of the evening was a presentation by Operation Snow Leopard, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the evacuation and resettlement of at-risk Afghans. The organization, led by Karen Kraft, who was in attendance, presented Prince Davit with a commemorative plaque in recognition of the support provided by His Royal Highness and the Royal House in the rescue and resettlement of nearly 700 at-risk Afghans.
Several notable announcements were made during the dinner. His Highness Kimon Andreou, Rector General for the Americas, formally introduced His Excellency Maj. Jason Hatch as the new Rector Coordinator for the United States, recognizing his dedication and contributions to the Royal Orders of Georgia. The Royal Heraldic College of Georgia also presented a newly granted coat of arms to a Georgian noble, further honoring the enduring significance of heraldic tradition within the Royal House.
The evening provided a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere in which attendees connected, shared ideas, and strengthened their bonds through meaningful conversations.
